We offer furnished holiday apartments to rent all year-round in the Austrian spa and ski centre of Bad Gastein. Bad Gastein is located in the Gastein Valley, 100 km from Salzburg. Bad Gastein is a small historical town with thermal waters which contain healing amounts of radon. The Gastein Valley with four ski centres and more than 200 kilometres of slopes is a part of Ski Amadé, the largest single ski area of Austria.
Skiing in Bad Gastein
The Gastein valley is a part of the ski area Ski Amadé. The skiers have more than 200 km of slopes of various levels of difficulty as well as cross country tracks, sled tracks, fun park, free ride terrains, skating rinks, walking on snowshoes and also year-round maintained spa facilities.
Summer in Bad Gastein
In summer, there are hundreds of marked hiking tracks waiting for you. Wandering through the mountains, you may discover intact mountain pastures embroidered with flowers, you may enjoy one of the specialties of local Alms, and children may try baking their own bread or washing gold.
Thermal spa
Enjoy a true relaxation after a demanding day spent in the mountains. The spa is a year-round facility. In the Gastein Valley, there are three thermal spas with outside and inside pools, a sauna complex and feature a possibility to order a range of healthcare additional services (massages, exercise, etc.)

Sport and other activitiesn
In summer, you may also take advantage of other attractions, such as paragliding, alpine hikes with llamas, hunting tours, fishing, climbing, horse riding, golf (18 hole golf course in the valley), minigolf, visiting museums, strongholds and castles and interesting countryside features in the surroundings. Cycling enthusiasts will find easy tracks through the entire valley and there are also extreme alpine tracks for experienced bikers. For swimmers there is a large swimming lake with facilities in the valley. The town offers guided hikes with local guides.
Salzburgerland Card – this can be bought in the tourist information center in Bad Gastein. The card allows you to enter the spa in summer, the lifts and other attractions (total of 190 attractions throughout the area Salzburg) for free, saving tens of euros.
Holiday apartments
There are total of 18 apartments available, all of them in one location in a calm, quiet part of Bad Gastein. All apartments are fully equipped. The apartments are suitable for seniors, families with children and adults who prefer privacy with the possibility of their own cooking. There is a TV with a DVD player in every apartment as well as kitchen or kitchenette (including dishes), a separate bathroom with WC, a balcony or a terrace. Marked hiking tracks are directly around the apartments, the closest ski area, Graukogel, is only 300 m from the apartments, further ski centres are ca 5-20 minutes drive away. The town centre is within 15 minutes of walking distance.
